This Takes the Cake

Just to give anyone who might be unchurched a little context:

Ephesians 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Well, guess what? I just found a website that sells real armor of God. No, seriously, I'm not kidding. Just have a gander at the "shield of faith".

I'm not making this up, that is a real picture from the website. Just click the link above to see the madness for yourself. Maybe if we get enough of these pieces together we can reenact the fall of Jerusalem? What'ya say?

Not only do they sell "real armor of God" but also period and themed costumes, such as Gandalf from Lord of the Rings. No wonder homeschoolers get made fun of. To be perfectly honest, I'm almost afraid that here, early on in my blogging career, I've found the ultimate piece of crappy Christian memorabilia. I just hope it's not all downhill from here.
