Election Day

The timestamp on this is right. For some reason, I couldn't get Blogger to post this last night. So, for your consideration, I present the brand-new T-Shirt Tuesday! Today's entry is particularly presumptous and slightly offensive.

Somehow, I don't think Jesus would agree with this. In fact, this is like wrath of God material, right here. Please, close this window before holy lighting strikes your computer and fire and brimstone rain down on your home. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I would love to see a church sign like this somewhere:

Oh, and I think bumper stickers will be moved to Saturday. If you see any, snap those pics and send them here.

Gregory..
May I remind you that the name of the blog is "Kinda Kitschy", not "Irredemably Awful"

...nice find. Gosh, that's bad.

[mouth hangs open in disbelief]

I suppose this is the other side of the infamous newspaper ad "A vote for Bill Clinton is a sin against God."

Where did you find this? I have some rabid Democrats in my congregation who might actualy appreciate the unintentional humor of such a shirt!

"actually." 2 L's.
Darn humanity!

I was just doing a search for Jesus, Bush, and vote on Google.

Whew! The awfulness is astounding. I'll keep an eye out for bad shirts. I think one of my students wore one this morning, but I didn't have my camera phone with me, and I didn't want the class any more suspicious of me than they already are.

I like the "vote how you want" part. In fact, don't vote at all, for all we care. God could give a sh*t what goes on down here. He's just concerned with religion and whatnot. Man, it's one extreme or another with these people.

I saw a sticker on a car yesterday that was a cross with stars and stripes on it, with the words "God bless America" written down the side. I tried to get a picture, but I was too busy vomiting up my pancreas.

Allen -

How about, "A vote for Bill Clinton is a vote for bush."

Sorry.

My favorite non-kitschy take on the "God Bless America" thing was a church sign that read, "America, bless God."

I must have that shirt. What are your demands?

15 slingshots, 1 mastiff, 3 copies of Darwin's "Origin of Species", and 5 boxes of Munch 'Ems. I can't find them at the store anymore.

...the Munch 'Ems, not the mastiff.

15 slingshots??

How about 12 slingshots and one Danny O'Day ventriloquist dummy?

No deal without the mastiff...

NO! The Munch 'Ems. Definitely the Munch 'Ems.
