Structure, Stickers, and Sloth

In order to add some much needed structure and discipline, and, of course, to make my job easier, I've decided to designate a couple days of the week to be devoted to specific kinds of kitsch. For example, henceforth, Monday shall be called: Bumper Sticker Day!

One day is going to be t-shirt day, but I haven't decided which yet. Oh, and Christmas is coming. If you have any ideas for a Kinda Kitschy event, leave me a comment. Maybe I'll use it! Or maybe I won't, if it stinks. Don't worry, I won't tell you if it does.

Anyway, here's today's entry:

And, 1 sticker + 1 crappy slogan = 2 kitschy to be taken seriously

Oh, and sorry for not posting for so long. I had to go to a wedding in Wisconsin and see a lot of old, dear, faithful (to myself and God) friends. Remember, Lion-O says:

Don't begrudge a blogger a vacation!

It's better than "sanc2fication" or "3demption" I guess. What is the mathematical equivalent of acceptance, repentance, etc.? And do you multiply that by the 1/3 day, for the resurrection?

Kitschy Slogan + deficient theology = nice entry!
Have a nice cold Kitschenbrau (or whatever you decided to call that.)

3 nails + 1 savior + 1 empty tomb + 2 natures of Christ + 3 parts of Godhead + etc....

That's too much math for a bumper sticker.

Don't forget to multiply by the square root of Jesse and add the remainder of Israel.

Maybe we could put it on a kitschy t-shirt instead?

It does remind me of the things we wrote in middle school yearbooks:

2 Young
2 Go
------
4 boys!!!!

etc.

That isn't a GOOD memory.

naturally it must be T-Shirt Tuesday.

T-Shirt Tuesday is a great idea, but I'd have to change Bumper Sticker Monday, because naturally I can't have two themed days right in a row.

I will keep my eye out for corny, kitschy Christian stickers. (Oooh, at the alliteration!) There are multitudes of them around here, and I am armed with a camera phone.

And trust me, Gregory, Miss Kitty is not afraid to use said camera phone. CCS woulda folded ages ago if it wasn't for her.....

I actually don't have a camera phone. I need to get one so I can snap shots of kitsch in stores, and stickers on cars, and stop pulling stuff off the net.

I originally got a camera phone to take pix of misspelled/poorly worded signs to show to my students. But the camera phone's been useful for SO many more things...such as pix of crummy church signs.

Thanks for the compliment, Joel. :-)
